Stray Lurcher spends FOUR YEARS looking for paw-fect home

A stray lurcher has been dubbed Britain’s most unwanted dog after being rescued from the streets but missing out on a new home for four years.

Four-year-old Sue was rescued from the Bath area and arrived at the RSPCA’s Bath Cats and Dogs Home on 22 August 2017.

After marking her fourth year at the rescue centre, staff are desperate to find this lovely girl the right home after she’s seen 941 of her kennel-mates go off to their new homes while she’s been waiting.

RSPCA appeals for information after dog found in 'shocking state'

The animal welfare charity is now investigating.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a stray Staffie cross was found in a shocking state in Bolton.

The charity was called on Sunday 16 August when the dog was spotted by a member of the public with a large lump on her stomach which was dragging on the floor and bleeding.

She also had chronic eye issues and her nails had grown through her paw pads and out of the other side.

Poor Zola rescued from the streets

A Staffordshire bull terrier is today safe in the care of the RSPCA, after being found wandering in South Shields.

Poor Zola has been rescued by the RSPCA after she was found as a stray earlier this month. Sadly, Zola had both severe mange and an eye condition, both of which she is receiving treatment for now.

Neglected pug dumped in the dark by the side of the road

Petunia was found collapsed in the road in north-west London

The RSPCA has appealed for information after a pug was found collapsed and dumped in a north-west London street riddled with infection.

Petunia - as she was later named by RSPCA staff - was found abandoned in Links Road, Cricklewood, at around 11pm on Friday 18 March. She was curled up in blanket with her head down.

Dog ‘at death’s door’ found wandering the streets

RSPCA appeal for information after a Jack Russell and a severely emaciated Lurcher are found straying in Dorset village

An emaciated lurcher that was days away from death has been found wandering the streets of a Dorset village along with a Jack Russell.
A member of the public found the two dogs straying in the wooded area at the rear of houses on Burnt House Lane, Bransgore on February 22.

Neither of the dogs were micro chipped nor wearing a collar and tag and it’s not known if they were previously together or found each other while straying.
