Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs

If you live in America or Europe you may well have encountered a Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, but there haven't been any in the UK - until recently.

Kimberley MacDonald from Samala Rottweilers will be one of the first Swissy breeders in Britain.

Just getting the dogs into the country is a complicated business, but that's not the end of the challenges!

Kimberley shares her plans with us, and we are hoping that in due time a Swissy playmate will be coming to keep Buddy company.

Update 14th May 2009: The newly formed Great Swiss Mountain Dog Club of Great Britain can be found at www.gsmd.org.uk

Lost Dogs
