Bella

Staffie cross Bella is very loving but can be frightened of other dogs so is looking for a home with experienced owners who know how to work with a reactive dog. She’s very clever and well-behaved in the home but would like a home with no other pets. She loves human company the most and is a real lap-dog; enjoying strokes and lots of fuss. She’s very playful and loves to play fetch and go on long walks. For more about Bella please contact RSPCA Northamptonshire branch by calling 01604 881317.

Alfie 2

English bull terrier Alfie is much more active and energetic than his older namesake. The eight-year-old is very sociable and loves going on walks and training. He’d like a new home with a garden to run in and would be happy living in a family with older children and another dog. He’s at Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District Animal Centre, in West Yorkshire. To find out more about him call 01422 365 628.

Tiny puppy dumped on coldest night of the year will be warm and loved this Christmas - with the woman who rescued him!

Once Patterdale terrier pup Elfie went home with RSPCA officer Heather Cook it was clear he’d never be leaving…!

Parts of England were submerged in snowdrifts and in other corners of the country the temperature had dropped to -13C. So when a tiny six-week-old terrier puppy was found dumped in a cardboard box in Manchester it was a miracle the vulnerable baby had survived.

Patterdale terrier pup Elfie was shivering when he was found by a woman who was walking to the shop on 12 December, just weeks before Christmas.

Senior dog Daisy needs a second chance

A nine-year-old Mongrel named Daisy has been at Battersea Dogs & Cats Home for nearly 100 days, but so far no one has come forward to give her a cosy and warm home this winter.

Daisy’s owners got her from Battersea eight years ago as a young dog, before bringing her back to the charity earlier this year after a change in circumstances made it difficult to keep a large dog like her.
