Fourteen-year-old terrier cross Eric - who is 98 in dog years - is currently being looked after by RSPCA Danaher Animal Home, in Essex.

This bubbly girl is looking for owners who have experience of tall, leggy racing dogs, and who will understand and manage her high chase drive.

Even though Sally likes the occasional run around, she’d much rather spend her time lounging on a sofa, watching reruns of your favourite TV shows.

RSPCA takes on the ten year challenge

Following the success of the social media campaign, the RSPCA showcase their own 10 year success stories!

These two pictures don’t look like the same dog but lucky for Max the love and care of his new owner over the last ten years has brought him back to health.

Max, a weimaraner, was rescued by the RSPCA in 2009 from a house in Manchester, he had severe mange and was aged just three months old.

Truffle

Truffle, a 12-week-old Jack Russell Terrier, who was brought into Battersea in December 2018. His owner had bought him after seeing an internet ad and met the seller at a train station, where the young dog was handed over wrapped in a towel.

Staffordshire bull terriers have been named as Britain’s Favourite Dog much to the delight of RSPCA centres across England & Wales.

The beloved Staffie topped a list of the country’s favourite 100 dogs as thousands cast their votes on Tuesday night (29 January) for ITV’s ‘Britain’s Top 100 Dogs Live’, hosted by Ben Fogle and Sara Cox.

Two-year-old Trevor is always on the go and is looking for an active home to call his own. He’s a bouncy boy who is very affectionate and loyal.
