Yoko

Four-year-old terrier Yoko arrived at Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home, Gloucestershire, in May 2021 and has been patiently waiting for her forever home for a very long 19 months. He’s a cheeky chap with a big personality but he has a strong hunting drive so will need owners who understand this. He’s very clever and needs lots of stimulation to keep him busy.

Lucky the stolen dog makes it home for new year

A scared dog has been reunited with her owner after being stolen over a year ago, thanks to Battersea.

Jack Russell, Lucky, was stolen from her owners in August 2020 while she was out on a walk. After months and months of searching, her family thought they’d never see their much-loved pet again.

One-year-old terrier cross Cody is a sweet boy who is looking for experienced adopters who would be confident to continue with his training and behaviour work. He can be reactive around unfamiliar people, dogs and vehicles but has been doing well with training. He is happy on the lead and wearing his muzzle when he’s out in public. He’d like a quiet, rural home where he can come out of his shell. When he does, he’s very affectionate and playful. He wags his whole body with excitement and is incredibly intelligent, picking up new things very quickly!

Ten-year-old terrier Doris is looking for her forever home

The RSPCA is appealing to find a special forever home for senior dog Doris who came into the charity’s care over a year ago after her previous owner sadly died.

Ten-year-old Jack Russell cross Doris is being cared for at the RSPCA Blackberry Farm Animal Centre in Buckinghamshire.

Three matted terriers who were confined in a kitchen before being rescued by the RSPCA and will now feature on the Channel Five show.

The Dog Rescuers on Channel Five features mum Kes, four-year-old Cassie and three-year-old Socks who were rescued by Inspector Adam Bailey in West Bromwich.

Plug the terrier had quite the adventure but is now safe at home with his family.

A terrier spent seven hours underground after disappearing down a badger sett while out for a walk with his owner in South Yorkshire.

Plug was out walking with his owner on Saturday morning (24 July) when he disappeared at around 8am.
