Italian Greyhounds

Learn about the elegant, intriguing Italian Greyhound.

They are the smallest sighthound, and we hear from breeder Leona Bortis about these charming dogs, seeking closeness with their family within the home, but energetic enough to enjoy lure coursing.

We hear from an owner who has been lucky enough to take her Italian Greyhound to Crufts several times, and is heading to Crufts 2006 - fingers crossed!

Training tips - Recall

Robopet

In Puppy Playtime, Jenny brings you a review of robotic dog, Robo Pet.

Robo Pet can make his own decisions. He can walk around his environment, performing various behaviours at will, all without bumping into anything.

You can also put him into command mode, and he will carry out your instructions, which can be anything from play dead to break wind - always a crowd pleaser!

It is possible to program him with a sequence of up to twenty moves or tricks. The remote control has a laser which he will follow along the floor, giving chase.

Jenny has had a lot of entertainment from her Robo Pet. Buddy has enjoyed it too, although his responses have varied from curiosity to puzzlement as to why this cheeky newcomer won't show submission.

You can buy Robopet at Amazon for $79.99
