Cody was adopted from the Dumb Friends League in Colorado and is now 1 year of age. Although a German Shepherd requires an enormous amount of exercise, I could not imagine another breed with more intelligence, loyalty and personality than this one!

Doc is a big boy, weighing in at 112 pounds. He does shed but we keep the shedding down to a minimum with daily brushing. He is extremely affectionate and fairly calm except for brief bursts of energy that he releases in our fenced yard. He loves all people and all other dogs, though he does chase the wild rabbits that manage to get into our yard. Best dog we ever had.

This was my boy 8 years ago! We recently had to say goodbye b/c he got cancer. He grew to 100 pounds, was loved by all, and is missed every day. Be sure to hug your dog a bit longer tonight.
