RSPCA appeals for information after dog found in 'shocking state'

The animal welfare charity is now investigating.

The RSPCA is appealing for information after a stray Staffie cross was found in a shocking state in Bolton.

The charity was called on Sunday 16 August when the dog was spotted by a member of the public with a large lump on her stomach which was dragging on the floor and bleeding.

She also had chronic eye issues and her nails had grown through her paw pads and out of the other side.

Dog rescued after being thrown from car

Roo is now being cared for by the RSPCA.

A skinny, matted dog is receiving treatment and care after being thrown from a car in Birmingham.

The RSPCA has launched an investigation after a tiny dog was brought into the charity’s Newbrook Farm Centre and Hospital on Thursday (13 August).

Inspector Vicki Taylor, who is now investigating, said: “This poor little dog was brought in by a member of the public after being thrown from a car in Warren Lane near Lickey Hills car park.

“She was emaciated and extremely matted. She was in a real state.”
