For every episode of DogCast Radio, we find a dog themed joke for the final word - which (as regular listeners will know) always goes to Jenny.

With more than 180 episodes, that means we've had to find over 180 doggy jokes. All our jokes have to be funny, family friendly, and feature a dog in a funny way without being at all negative about dogs, or likely to offend any dog lovers.

Large Loki is looking for love


Sometimes, the larger the dog, the larger the task of finding them a new home. This is the case with Loki, a Northern Inuit cross who has found himself in Battersea Dogs & Cats Home’s care through no fault of his own. Covered in thick, grey fur, with striking blue eyes, and standing at over a metre tall, Loki looks as if he might have just wandered off the set of Game of Thrones.

Animal groups unite on a hot topic


Unbelievably, in a recent poll, over 40% of people consider it to be acceptable to leave a dog in a hot car, the RSPCA has revealed. The charity commissioned a survey of more than 8,000 people, and were shocked to find that only 55% of people expressed the opinion that it’s never acceptable to leave a dog in a hot car.
