Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is working in partnership with the London Borough of Hounslow to answer pet owner’s needs at a free community event on Tuesday 13 February.
The pet drop-in event is available to all local pet owners to ask for any advice about their dog or cat. It will also give a chance for owners to get their dog microchipped for free. There’ll also be a free dog tag engraving service available.
Date: Tuesday 13 February
Time: 11am – 3pm
Address: Southville Community and Children’s Centre, Southville Road, Feltham, TW14 8AP
Rebecca Calver, Community Engagement Team Leader at Battersea, commented: “We’re really happy to be working with the London Borough of Hounslow to bring Battersea’s responsible pet ownership advice to the community. The aim of these drop-in events is to engage with more pet owners providing them with the services and knowledge to create a safe environment for their pets and others.”
Battersea and Hounslow Council welcomes all pet owners and their dogs to the local drop-in clinic. Free cat advice is also available, but please leave your feline friend at home.
Battersea is able to go out to communities and hold free events like these due to the generous funding from players of People’s Postcode Lottery. The lottery recently announced an increase to 32% of each ticket sale going directly to good causes including Battersea.
