Mission K9

Military dogs in America’s armed forces devotedly work alongside their human handlers, in service to the United States. However, when their duties end, they frequently end up in kennels, often suffering from physical injuries and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

Mission K9 is dedicated to offering America’s K9 military heroes the peaceful retirement they deserve, restoring their emotional and physical health, and finding them forever homes — often with their former handlers.

In this interview Bob talks about the work the charity do, the dogs they save, the challenges they face, and the harsh reality of life for some working dogs. Find out more at the Mission K9 Rescue website. The other charity Bob mentions is Hero Paws .

You can also find mission K9 Rescue on Facebook Twitter and Instagram.

Dog Dancing

If, like host Julie, you love dog dancing, this interview with World Champion Elke Boxoen will be a treat for you. Elke and Jessy's Once Upon A Time routine went viral - you can see the amazing routine here.

Elke reveals that her priority is her dogs' welfare, and her relationship with them. She talks about her dogs' characters, her training approach, and the importance of choosing the right music and costume to help tell a story.

Dogs, animals and nature have always inspired Elke and been a big part of her life. AS well as training her dogs, Elke has trained horses, and thrives on time in a natural setting.

To help others achieve harmony with their dogs Elke has founded Dogz Devotion Academy and you can keep up to date with Elke on Facebook Instagram and You Tube.
