Using his "hilariously entertaining" (Mail On Sunday) approach Dave considers how sometimes the most important things can be overlooked…like man's (and woman's) best friend.
Using his "quirky, moving & hilarious" (Indy 100) style Dave argues that dogs are better than humans. For example, a dog never asks you to lose weight, earn more money or get that promotion. There are male and female working dogs, but there's no gender pay gap. The nearest any dog has ever got to chemical warfare is breaking wind and walking off in disgust.
The example dogs set is exactly what we need. Following lifting lockdowns insecurity has never been higher - something Dave knows only too well. Having always worried about not being the best comic, he makes peace with the fact that just because you're not the best at something doesn't make you the worst.

In a wide ranging discussion, Elizabeth and Julie discuss buying and adopting a dog, and some of the pitfalls that can entrap unwary would-be dog owners.
