Advice to a listener

DogCast Radio listener Kelly got in touch to ask for advice about her rescue dog Charlie who has been chewing books. Charlie has been mistreated in the past and finds even the most gentle of scoldings distressing.

To find advice for Kelly's problem, host Julie turned to experienced trainer and rescuer Judy Rentrop. Judy gives her advice on how Kelly should teach Charlie how to behave and uses her experience of rescuing many dogs to provide insights into a rescue dog's mind.

To find out more about Judy you can visit her Brownsville Dog Trainer website, and you can also contact her on Facebook.
