Dog Wrangler

Do you know what a dog wrangler is? Kathryn Segura is a wrangler in Hollywood, and has trained and supplied dogs, as well as other animals, for many films and television shows over her career.

In this interview she talks about her book Hollywood Barks, and working on movies such as Indecent Proposal and Something About Mary. She loves the dogs she works with, and has strong views about how they should be cared for. In turn they return her care, for example two Golden Retrievers saved her life during the filming of a Rescue 911 re-enactment.

It seems Kathryn was destined to work with dogs, being born with a paw print on her thigh.

You can find out more about Hollywood Barks at the Happy Tails website, and more about Kathryn Segura at the Take 1 Products website.

Cats v Dogs

Host Julie carries on the consideration of cats and dogs, with some thoughts on what is the real difference between the two species. She has a theory that it can all be boiled down to one word.
