Sociable canines (and their owners of course!) invited to Pooch Mooch

The RSPCA Block Fen Animal Centre in Cambridgeshire is holding a sponsored Pooch Mooch on Sunday 12 May.
All well-mannered, active dogs should get their families to register to take part and are encouraged to get sponsorship too.

You will receive a certificate and doggy bag filled with delicious treats for your efforts. And your humans won’t miss out either because there are home-made biscuits for them to try in the coffee shop at Block Fen afterwards!

There are sponsorship forms available from the centre but if you just want to join in the walk on the day there is an entrance fee of £5 per family.

You can start your walk any time between 11am and 2pm. The walk will start and end at Block Fen where all canines can imbibe a plentiful supply of water before setting off and once they cross the finish line.

The course is suitable for dogs of any ability but you must remain on a leash to prevent any sprinting to the finish and humiliating your slower humans and they are also required to carry bags to scoop up your poop.

All money raised will go towards providing care for less fortunate animals currently residing at RSPCA Block Fen, Block Fen Drove, Wimblington Cambridgeshire which is open daily except Wednesdays 11am to 3.30pm. Get your human to call them on 0300 123 0726.

You don’t have to be Barking Mad to do it and we hope you will all have a Woofing good time!
