MAD DOGS & ENGLISHMEN BRAVE WEATHER TO SUPPORT WAGGY WALKS

MAD DOGS AND ENGLISHMEN BRAVE WEATHER TO SUPPORT WAGGY WALKS

Dogs Trust thrilled by support for fundraising events

Despite terrible downpours across the UK on Sunday 3rd October, nearly 2000 people supported 10 Waggy Walk events that took place all over the country. Wet but not downhearted, these hardy dog lovers - many with their four legged friends - completed the walks and raised vital funds for Dogs Trust.

Clarissa Baldwin OBE, Dogs Trust CEO says:

“We’re hugely impressed and grateful that so many dog lovers pulled on their wellies to join us at our Waggy Walks.

“Events like this are important to raise awareness of the work of Dogs Trust as well as vital funds to help care for dogs at our 17 Rehoming Centres. So we’d like to say a huge thank you to all who came along or sponsored a Waggy Walker.”

Otis the Staffordshire Bull Terrier was this year’s event mascot and it’s still possible to sponsor him by visiting www.justgiving.com/waggywalks .
