Win yourself a Valentine's treat

Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and if you fancy having a night at a dog friendly hotel, you could win yourself one for free in this competition, run by ThePet.net. You can hear an interview with the site's creator, TV vet Marc Abraham in Episode 62 of DogCast Radio.

Win a romantic Valentine’s night for two, with puppy love included, thanks to ThePet.net

ThePet.net knows just how important puppy love is in a relationship, which is why it is giving you the chance to win a romantic Valentine’s night for you, your partner and, of course, your dogs at a top UK retreat.

Cliveden, a grand stately home in the heart of the Berkshire countryside, is the pawfect hotel for a romantic break with its extravagant detailing and indulgent service. As the setting for the Profumo affair, Cliveden has seen its fair share of passion but it considers puppy love to be equally important and this is reflected in its dog-friendly attitude.

It is almost impossible to believe that such a grand and historic country house could be a dog-friendly hotel but every canine is greeted with a very warm welcome and treated as a VIP guest.

70 per cent of pet owners would not even consider dating a person who was not an animal lover and ThePet.net is working hard through its website to get like-minded pet people together to share their experiences.

Created by TV vet Marc Abraham and online media expert Andrew Seel, ThePet.net is more than just a social petworking site. It is a resource that is aiming to revolutionise the global pet industry. Launched at the end of October, the website allows pet owners to share and rate their experiences of pet-friendly hotels, shops and services to ultimately find the best a pet can get.

Pet owners have always exchanged experiences and recommendations in the park or in the vet’s waiting room but ThePet.net goes a step further, acting as a portal for all pet owners taking word-of-mouth to a global level.

To be in with a chance of making Valentines Day 2009 truly a night to remember for the human and canine loves in your life, enter the competition online at www.thepet.net. The prize is for one night’s accommodation on 14th February 2009 for two people plus two dogs.

If you do win have a great night.

Take care,
