Survival and other stuff!

This time of year can get stressful for us all, so if you feel your dog needs a Christmas survival guide, then check out this one from Dr Roger Mugford in the Telegraph. I love his suggestion for a dog owner’s New Year resolution. (www.telegraph.co.uk/topics/christmas/3902388/Christmas-survival-guide-Pe...)

In other news, Princess Beatrice’s dog Max is still missing, and her mother, the Duchess of York, has announced that there is now a “no questions asked” reward on offer for his return. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/berkshire/7794988.stm) In some ways offering a reward on such terms seems like encouraging dog theft, but then I can identify with the desperate need to recover the dog.

I can’t wait to see the film of Marley and Me, but for now I’ll have to make do with reading reviews. As you can see, it looks good.(www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/RTGAM.20081223.wmarley1224/BNStory...)

Christmas is inching closer – we now have a present for each of our dogs, and we just need to wrap them. Yes, I know it’s sad, but we wrap their presents. And bless them, they humour us and make a big game out of biting and clawing the paper off.

We’re also busy at the moment exploring the possibility of changing the DogCast Radio (www.DogCastRadio.com ) opening music. We’ve been going for over three years now, so maybe it’s time to shake things up. Don’t worry, there may be a new theme tune (but then again there may not!) but it’ll still be the same great dog-related content. We’re also putting together our Christmas episode which is due out on the 27th December.

Take care,
